There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs has confirmed the campus visits of four finalists for the position of Dean for the College of Architecture. Each finalist will be announced a few days before his or her visit.
The dates of the four candidate visits are:
Each will deliver a public presentation at 11 a.m. on the first day of their visit, followed by an informal public reception. The campus is invited to provide feedback on the candidates at provost.gatech.edu/dean-architecture.
As chief academic and administrative officer of the College of Architecture, the Dean is responsible for providing leadership for the following specific activities: strategic planning, faculty appointments, budgetary and administrative oversight, stewardship and development and multidisciplinary partnerships. Finalists were selected by a committee chaired by Terry Blum, director, Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship and professor, Scheller College of Business, and comprised of faculty members, campus administrators, and students.
