Directed by Bo Wang, China Concerto (2012) is an essay film that contemplatess Chongqing when the western metropolis on the Yangtse is caught in a tide of resurrecting "red classics" that conflate images and messages from both socialism and capitalism.

The Independent Chinese Film Series is curated by Qi Wang, of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. Sponsors include the China Research Center, Georgia Tech, Emory University, Georgia State University, and Kennesaw State University.
