Tips and Tricks in Photoshop CS5: Session I

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. Full Summary: Learn the basics of Photoshop CS5 in this introductory workshop. 

Adobe Photoshop is a graphics/image editing program included in the Adobe Creative Suite. The  software is often used by graphic artists, print designers, visual  communicators,and regular people like you. Pictures in things such as posters, books, magazines, and brochures are often created or edited in Photoshop.

Get some hands on time with this professional software!

In this workshop, we experiment with various photoshop tools and will cover things such as: special filters, liquify, blending images using layer mask, adjusting hue and saturation, examples of portrait retouching and adjusting image brightness/contrast.
