There "appears to be some truth to the idea that, as Georgia Tech professor Ian Bogost has put it, MOOCs [massive online open courses] are just marketing for elite colleges. In total, 43 percent of administrators said they thought the courses could attract new students. Around 60 percent thought so at the largest schools." Bogost is a professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication. Source: The Atlantic, January 9, 2013; The Atlantic, January 16, 2013
