There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. We are now accepting applications for our Graduate Teaching Fellow program for the 2013-14 year.
This year, there is one opportunity to participate in this program:
GoSTEM Initiative:
Students should have undergraduate or graduate background in a STEM (Science, Engineering, Design, etc.) field and have a desire to work with middle or high school students and science or math teachers. Spanish fluency is desired but not required.
Students should have a car.

The program runs from May to May and includes a summer training course plus a seven hour/week commitment during the school year.
The program covers tuition (standard only - not any program specific fees) plus a $8000 stipend. Students can hold an additional 1/3 time appointment in their home school.
