There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. A Georgia Institute of Technology professor, Thomas Boston [School of Economics], said the fiscal cliff could do enough damage to small businesses to halt the economic recovery. ‘‘They’re just now recovering, really growing in any kind of significant way since the recession,’’ Boston said. ‘‘The job creation we’ve seen over the last five months, that creation has been located overwhelmingly in small businesses.’’ Source: Boston Globe - December 13, 2012
