Several of our staff in Student Affairs have been selected to present at the NASPA 2013 Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida this coming spring.
Mac Pitts, assistant dean and director of Student Media has been selected to present his proposal "Breaking News: The Student Newspaper Is Here For An Interview." The presentation will address how to build strong and supportive relationships with the campus student media organizations that cover their institution's news and events.
Also at NASPA, Dr. Bill Schafer, vice president for Student Affairs, and Dr. Brenda "B" Woods, director of Research and Assessment for Student Affairs, will participate in a panel presentation on the "Ten Tenets for Assessment Success." The presentation will explore these fundamentals and how they can be leveraged for successful assessment in Student Affairs.
More than 1,000 proposals were submitted for this year's NASPA Conference, only 400 were accepted. Congratulations!
