The Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute (GTMI) welcomes The Coca-Cola Company's Mr. Michael Bak to campus on Monday, January 14, 2013.  Bak will speak on "The Challenges of High and Low Volume Manufacturing - Making Innovation Work." The seminar begins at Noon in Room 114 of the Manufacturing Research Building.

Michael Bak has over 25 years’ experience in the area of new product development from both a manufacturing and development engineering perspective from his work at industry leaders Honeywell Aerospace, Microsoft, and now with The Coca-Cola Company.  Through this experience, Bak has had the opportunity to develop and launch both high volume consumer electronic products and low volume, complex, aerospace and micro-dispensing systems in both domestic and international settings.  Having recently lived abroad consulting in Beijing, China, Bak is now a New Product Introduction Manager at the Coca–Cola Freestyle Division. He is forever passionate about product/process innovation and execution.
