There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Speaking at a recent Rotary Club meeting, Joe Bankoff, chair of The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, asked the 200 club members "to stand if they had participated in some form of arts activity in their youth like music, dance, painting, or theater: nearly every person present stood up. He then asked those standing if they made a living today in an arts-related field and nearly everyone standing sat down.
