Karen Handel is the former Georgia Secretary of State. In 2011, she was appointed Senior Vice President of Public Policy at Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a leading charity in the cause of fighting breast cancer. She resigned on Feb. 7, 2012, following the foundation's controversial decisions to end, and then restore, funding for Planned Parenthood. 

On Thursday, Nov. 29, Karen Handel will speak about her time spent at Komen and the controversy surrounding Planned Parenthood.
