Known at Georgia Tech as Director of the Communications Center, Karen Head is also an internationally recognized poet whose work recently appeared in an anthology published in London.

In "Marriage Parable," a haiku, Head explores one aspect of newlywed experience while "Saltburn-by-the-Sea" reveals a siren in training. The two short poems appear in Loose Muse: An Anthology of New Writing by Women (Autumn 2012).
