Georgia Tech's Northside Drive study influencing city policy

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Suggestions for the Northside Drive corridor made in Professor of the Practice of Planning Michael Dobbins' student studio may be influencing the most recent update of Atlanta's comprehensive transportation program.  The Georgia Tech study encompasses several significant land plays that could dramatically alter the fabric of the corridor, and city officials recently decided to incorporate Northside Drive as a transit corridor.
