Ryan Gravel (MCP '99) awaits Monday's opening of the Beltline’s Eastside Trail, a 2.25-mile segment south from Piedmont Park to just north of DeKalb Avenue.  City officials are calling this segment opening “the most significant step forward yet” for the Beltine project, a 22-mile loop built upon an abandoned railway corridor and originally conceptualized as Gravel's master's thesis at Georgia Tech.
