CycleAtlanta Bike App Launches

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. CycleAtlanta, a free smartphone app designed to help bikers navigate routes and encourage biking in the city, was publicly released at the Bike Expo held at Atlanta's City Hall on October 12, 2012. The app was developed by Georgia Tech researchers led by Christopher Le Dantec, assistant professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, and Kari Edison Watkins, assistant professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
