Birchfield on the European Union's Nobel Peace Prize

While the European Union's (EU) Nobel Peace Prize win was met with skepticism by those citing the Union's current economic instability, Vicki Birchfield, associate professor in The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, felt that "this may be a propitious moment to remind EU citizens and leaders about its roots and achievements as a peace project.
