Metropolitan Atlanta Arts & Culture Coalition (MACC) recently approached the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) to develop a cultural master plan for the region. “Things have been happening in pockets, but they needed to be more visible so the ARC has taken on the piece of the planning function that MACC was trying to do,” said Joe Bankoff, chair of The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. The arts and culture sector is a prime economic driver of the creative economy in Atlanta and Georgia. Source: Atlanta Business Chronicle, October 12, 2012
