There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Institute for Computing Education (ICE) will be hosting YELL Academy for an introductory workshop for middle school students on the 3-D animation software, Scratch. Yell Academy’s goal is to maintain student interests in prospective careers as it relates to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This 3 hour workshop will take place on Georgia Tech’s campus in the Klaus Advanced Computing Building, room 2443, on October 6, 2012 from 1pm to 4pm.
