Summaries

Summary Sentence: Faculty development seminar for faculty, post-docs, & grad students

Full Summary: This interactive workshop will highlight how assignments that require students to produce short videos are having an impact on learning in STEM courses.

Join this interactive luncheon session and find out how math, physics, biology, and OMED are using video to enhance student learning.  You’ll see samples of both required and extra credit assignments that are changing how students prepare for class as well as how they demonstrate what they know.  You’ll also find out how video can change your in-class presentation day and engage your students in a more dynamic way.

Come learn from your colleagues, see sample videos, and hear what students are saying about the impact of these assignments on their learning.
