There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Intel Student Developer program is working with the Center for Experimental Research in Computer Systems (CERCS) and the Oregon Health& Science University (OHSU) Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, to sponsor a student-driven Code for Good hackathon at Georgia Tech, September 28-29, 2012. The theme of this event is Developing Apps to fight Childhood Obesity and to foster Healthy Lifestyle Choices.
Code for Good is an Intel sponsored initiative that harnesses the creative energies of software developers, technologists, domain experts, like minded organizations and individuals to help tackle some of the society's most pressing problems. .Georgia TechDr.Mathhew Wolf of CERCS will be the host at Georgia Tech. He is working to bring some of the brightest and most capable students from his school and the region. Intel Software has been partnering with Dr. Matthew Wolf since 2007.Over the years, Dr. Wolf and his Intel collaborators have developed programs to bring advanced computing to teachers and students world-wide through innovative programs.
