The Nu Beta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and My Beauti Network are dedicated to global leadership through timeless service will present MBN GIRLS ROCK LIVE benefit concert to raise awareness of the epidemic of childhood obesity and its physical, mental, and social effects on our society.
GIRLS ROCK LIVE Benefit Concert is to inspire other girls who are wanting to get into music, but more importantly encourage charitable donations to support the fight against childhood obesity and leading a healthy lifestyle initiative of the non-profit organization Choices.
The concert will increase awareness of childhood obesity as an epidemic to the young men and women who are in the position to make a difference – college students. College students are the young professionals of America and we hope to instill this passion for charity within them so that when they enter the workforce, they take a sense of community responsibility with them. Admission is free, and donations are welcome.
