Title:
Too Cool for School?: Moving Technology from the Lab to Lap
Abstract:
Do you have some technology that is ready for market? Are you forming a start-up? Licensing your technology? Looking for a partner? A F-100 partner? Are you interested in making an impact by improving people’s health and well-being? The Emerging Technology group on Humana’s Innovation Center has been sponsoring and working with Georgia Tech’s GVU Center as well as a number of America’s other leading universities for a number of years. In that time we have sponsored research, developed technology, run user studies, supported start-ups. Our academic partners have helped move the mindset of Humana by transferring both knowledge and technology to impact the health and well-being of our members and the general population. Recently we published another RFP to the Georgia Tech community around Aging in Grace. Come and hear about Humana’s Wellbeing strategy, what we working on especially with Georgia Tech, and how we can help you to grow your idea to reality.
