There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Patent and Trademark Resource Center at Georgia Tech Library will host the America Invents Act Implementation Roadshow on September 24 at the Georgia Tech Student Center from 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This is event is one of the eight roadshows hosted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) during September 2012 to share information about new final rules implementing provisions of the America Invents Act that became effective on September 16, 2012. The final rules relate to provisions for inventor’s oath/declaration, preissuance submissions, citation of patent owner statements, supplemental examination, inter partes review, post grant review, and covered business method review. The final rules were published in the Federal Register.
The roadshows are free and open to the public; pre-registration is not
required. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
