There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editing tool, commonly used by graphic designers. In this beginning workshop we will familiarize you with the interface and introduce to handy features within the package, as we create a basic logo / label. Exercises may include things like: typing on a path, extrude and bevel, working with text, blending, scaling, adjusting gradients, live trace and experimenting with the new shape builder tool. Illustrator is a must have in your arsenal of software for professional looking results.
