Lawrence Rubin, assistant professor in The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, was interviewed on local Atlanta TV station WXIA-TV / 11Alive on Thursday, September 13, 2012. 11Alive News anchor Ted Hall questioned Rubin on the latest news from Libya, what the broader implications could be, and what this means to the security of other American embassies and consulates.
Rubin's research interests include comparative Middle East politics and international security with a specific focus on Islam and politics, Arab foreign policies, and nuclear proliferation. He holds a PhD in Political Science from UCLA and has earned degrees from UC Berkeley, the London School of Economics, and the University of Oxford.
