No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Barbara Ericson, Director of Computing Outreach for the Institute for Computing Education (ICE), has been named the winner of the 2012 A. Richard Newton Educator Award. This award recognizes teaching practices, techniques or innovative and new education approaches that attract girls and women to math, computing and engineering.
