There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Faculty and PhD students are invited to come speak for five minutes (strictly timed) about research jobs for undergrads. These could be for either pay or credit. You may talk about specific opportunities, or just talk about your research in general and invite interested folks to contact you.
If you can't make it, a senior PhD student may present on your behalf. If you and a PhD student would both like to present, we will add two minutes on to your time for your student.
As usual, we are holding this on the first day of classes to try to give folks time to set up research for course credit for fall term. There will be a second job fair in November for spring and summer.
