Starting August 1, all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff members will need to tap their Buzzcards at the newly installed security gates before entering the Georgia Tech Library.

The “Tap and Go” gates were installed in an effort to provide a more secure environment for Georgia Tech students using the Library. The gates are located at the main entrance inside the Rotunda, as well as at the Clough Commons fourth floor entry point. In the event of inactive or forgotten Buzzcards, users must provide a valid photo ID to Library Security to enter the building.
