There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Catherine Ross, a transportation planner on the faculty at Georgia Tech, is more hopeful that other options will emerge if the referendum fails, that a deepening transportation crisis will yet spark regional unity. She agrees, however, that the immediate future would look bleak: "Our reality will be different...people will pack up and vote with their feet," Ross said. Emeritus Professor Harry West and MCRP alumni Baruch Feigenbaum ('10) and Colleen Kiernan ('08) are also included in the conversation.
