Intel invests $1.6M in new Georgia Tech research center

“Intel Corp. is investing $1.6 million to create a ‘social computing’ research center at Georgia Tech. The Intel Science and Technology Center for Social Computing will be located in the Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, which houses one of the nation’s top graduate programs in digital media.” The center "will lead research on Creativity and Collectivity — specifically, how group production and ‘patterns of making’ are changing what it is to be creative.” Source: Atlanta Business Chronicle - June 26, 2012
