Members from the Georgia Tech community who are responsible for planning events within their current job function, or who are interested in the event industry, are encouraged to attend the Event Coordinators' Network's 4th Annual Workshop: Rising to the Next Level.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from guest keynote speaker Jim Hooker, Associate Senior Vice President of the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events at the University of Southern California. Mr. Hooker supervises a staff of ten event professionals and is responsible for more than 200 events on USC’s multiple campuses. Most recently, he and business partner Bruce Stewart founded Stewart & Hooker, an academic event strategies and communications consulting business aimed at improving communication processes and methodologies that reinforce the strategic value of our institutions. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to choose amongst several educational breakout sessions, meet targeted event contacts during our vendor showcase, partake in specially prepared meals from several of our preferred caterers, and network with fellow event professionals and colleagues.

Visit the Institute Special Events & Protocol website for additional information about the Event Coordinators' Network and a glimpse of the workshop agenda. Interested attendees can register here.
