There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The committee charged with providing guidance and encouragement for the projects emerging from Georgia Tech’s 25-year strategic plan marked the end of its first year with a day of presentations that articulated how members of the Tech community envision what it means to be the technological research university of the 21st century.
During the April 25 event in the Global Learning Center, the Strategic Plan Implementation Steering Committee heard from the co-chairs of 10 different projects, who reported on the progress of the past nine months and offered a set of near- and long-term recommendations for moving beyond talk and into action.
Reports mark the end of a phase in each project’s cycle, but not progress toward its realization. The Strategic Plan Implementation Steering Committee will break for the summer and reconvene in the fall. It is expected that additional projects will be added for the group’s consideration.
Videos for each of the presentations, along with additional project information resources, are available at www.gatech.edu/vision/projects.
