This unique traffic signal device is designed to provide pedestrians with a safe means of crossing a busy roadway without impeding the flow traffic. Pedestrian participation is essential for the successful operation of the new HAWK signal. Motorists should be aware of and obey the signals displayed by the HAWK device.
