There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. There seems to be a greater awareness in society of a need to put less of a strain on our planet. Sustainable technologies can help to meet the ever increasing demand for energy while reducing the harmful effects men have placed on the environment. Join us and hear of few examples of how faculty and graduate students at Georgia Tech are developing green technologies including harvesting energy from solar vortices like dust-devils, capturing carbon dioxide to reduce the greenhouse effect and developing effective public policy for energy use.

Blended Research @ the Library is a panel discussion series focusing on multidisciplinary research. At each session faculty and graduate students from various departments present research in an area that crosses over several disciplines.
