No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This year marks the 100th anniversary of British computer pioneer Alan Turing’s birth. Universities around the world are commemorating 2012 as The Alan Turing Year. Join us as Georgia Tech celebrates the contributions this underappreciated genius made to the computer science and artificial intelligence societies.
The Turing Symposium and Luncheon will take place at Technology Square Research Building (TSRB) from 10:30am-12:30pm on Friday, April 20. The panel discussion will be moderated by Ms. Irina Nikiforova (Georgia Tech). The panelists are Ian Bogost (Georgia Tech professor), Mr. Neil Kimber (Kaplan Learning Technologies), Mr. Alan Gould (Emory University), and Kevin Treu (Furman University professor).
