Head Receives GTFIRE Grant

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Karen Head, assistant professor in the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture and director of the GT Communications Center for undergraduates, has been granted $9,914 in funding under Georgia Tech's GTFIRE program for her proposal Learning to Critique Designs through Public Speaking. Co-PI Colin Potts. The GTFIRE program is intended to support innovations in education and research as outlined in Georgia Tech's Strategic Plan. The progress and future plans of the project will be presented this fall at the Innovation at Georgia Tech Symposium.
