There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Welcome back to The Buzz at Student Affairs! Yes, it has been some time since the Division of Student Affairs last sent out a newsletter to our staff. But based upon your feedback, we wanted to make this vehicle even more dynamic to meet your information needs… and these things often take some time. However, we feel the results are well worth the wait. We hope you do as well.
As before, our goal is to increase your awareness of important news and events within the Division of Student Affairs. While many of you receive the Institute’s Daily Digest, this newsletter is designed to be a bit different. The Buzz at Student Affairs will be published monthly (or perhaps more often!) and will provide a snapshot of what is happening in the Division of Student Affairs. It will also communicate important campus programs and services that affect Student Affairs and its staff. This will be a newsletter to help you connect to your Student Affairs.
We encourage you to submit ideas for news articles and timely events – see the “Submit an Idea” link in the lower right hand corner of the newsletter. This is truly an opportunity for you to have an impact on what is circulated throughout the Division of Student Affairs.
So read the articles, attend an event, and get to know what is going on in Student Affairs. We hope that you will share the information with your colleagues and the students with whom you interact. We greatly appreciate your help in spreading the good word about what we do for the Georgia Tech community.
We hope you find The Buzz at Student Affairs informative and useful. Read on and enjoy!
Stay tuned,
Rachael Pocklington
