*********************************
There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Full Summary: No summary paragraph submitted.

This workshop is for rising 4th-6th grade children. In this session you will learn about responding to events, variables, and loops. Scratch is free software from MIT that lets you create interactive art, animations, music, and games. LEGO WeDo kits contain a motor, a tilt sensor, and a distance sensor as well as LEGO blocks. You can make all sorts of cool things like a top spinner, a ball kicker that kicks whenever a ball gets close, or a plane that controls a Scratch plane. More information about summer camps can be found here: http://coweb.cc.gatech.edu/ice-gt/1080.
