Congratulations to Dr. Bahareh Azizi for winning the 2011 “Outstanding  Service Award”.  This recognizes not only her many activities at Georgia Tech, but also her outstanding commitment and efforts to promote science.  She has given science a new stage through her work as a TV show host, enhancing our community by serving on the City of Atlanta Zoning review board, assisting young people through her leadership role in organizations such Girls Inc. and the Junior League of Atlanta, and enhancing public health by providing guidance to Go Red Project and the Ripple Effect.

Good job!
