Sponsored by the Georgia Tech Hispanic Alumni Network, the Water Resources Symposium will provide students and practicing professionals with a comprehensive understanding of historic and current stormwater regulations, stormwater management methods and techniques and current issues facing public sector entities regarding stormwater management.

In addition to providing a good understanding of “technical and engineering” issues and concerns the symposium will illustrate how communities can incorporate flood and storm management issues into “community planning and urban design” projects that benefit the local and regional community.
