How do I apply?
When is the application deadline for special students?
- Special/Transient (non-degree seeking) students must apply for Summer admission by April 1, 2012.
What is the application fee?
- The application fee to apply as a Special/Transient (non-degree seeking) student is $65.
What is the tuition for a special student?
- Tuition rates are at: http://www.bursar.gatech.edu/tuiandfee.php. Special/Transient (non-degree seeking) students pay the normal graduate or undergraduate rate depending on whether the course is 1000-4000 (undergraduate) or 6000-9000 (graduate). Special/Transient (non-degree seeking) students are not subject to differential tuition and pay the general graduate student rate.

Can I register for a summer course if I’m not a Tech student?
- Yes, you would apply as a:
- SPECIAL NON-DEGREE SEEKING – to apply as a non-degree seeking student you will need to complete the online application for graduate admissions. Once inside of the application you will be able to choose Special Non-Degree Seeking status.
