There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Office of the Provost thanks everyone that has applied or made a nomination for the two open vice provost positions.
The application pool is strong and is currently being reviewed by the provost and an application review team that includes provost’s office and college leadership. The process is advancing as planned, with the intention of announcing the appointments later this semester. The vice provosts are expected to begin their new role no later than July 1, 2012.
Further applications and nominations will not be received after Mar. 7, 2012.
