There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Carlos S. "Santiago" Grijalva was appointed as the associate director for Electrical Energy Systems in the Strategic Energy Institute (SEI), effective December 1, 2011.
Dr. Grijalva has been an associate professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech since 2009. In his new role, he will foster the research enterprise in the area of energy conversion, including assembling faculty teams to compete for energy-related grants. Dr. Grijalva will also work with industry and with contacts in Washington, D.C. to facilitate research opportunities, policy, and impact in this area.
