There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Session One of the Intellectual Property in Academic Seminar Series - Overview of Intellectual Property - will take place Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 3p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Homer Rice Center, Library 2 East.
The seminar introduces students to the basics of IP, focusing ont he differences maong them and what protections applyto each. Examples and q&a will be usd to help students understand the differences and iP protection processes. Useful hand-outs will be included.
The Georgia Tech Library is the only Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) in the State of Georgia. The Library keeps all available patents issued in the U.S. since 1790 on file. The Library also provides free training to inventors, students, and researchers.
