Thirteen students from the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs (INTA) visited Washington D.C. for a networking trip that allowed them to meet with Capitol Hill staffers to discuss working on the Hill, hot topics in this Congress, and opportunities for internships.

Students were able to talk with a staff in Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson's office, as well as in the Joint Economic Committee and Senate Armed Services. In addition to their trip to the Hill, they visited the Center for Strategic and International Studies and attended a reception with INTA alumni.

Accompanying the students were INTA interim school chair Katja Weber, Undergraduate Advisor Stephanie Jackson, and Program Coordinator Tony Gallego. INTA sponsored the networking event, with support for the reception from Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI).
