International Women’s Day (IWD) officially began 101 years ago, when more than one million men and women attended IWD rallies to campaign for women’s rights to work, vote, hold public office, and fight against discrimination. Now thousands of events are held throughout the world on March 8, the official day for IWD.
In honor of IWD, Georgia Tech Women Alumni Network will host Change Your World Inaugural Women’s Forum on Saturday, March 10 to focus on the achievements and development of professional potential of women.

8 a.m. — Breakfast and Networking
8:30 a.m. — Keynote Speaker: Ms. Susan Bulkeley Butler, author of “Women Count: a Guide to Changing the World” and “Becoming the CEO of You” and the first female partner of Accenture.
9:45 a.m. — Panel Discussion: Ms. Becky Blalock, former senior vice president and CIO of Southern Company; Ms. Barbara Mosacchio, CEO of Atlanta Women’s Foundation, Sunny Nastase, VP Customer Solutions, UPS
11 a.m. — Closing Speaker: Ms. Cynthia Good, Award-winning journalist, founder and CEO of Pink Magazine and Little PINK Book
Cost is $55 with advanced registration and $65 at the door. Registration includes a copy of Susan Bulkeley Butler’s book “Women Count: A Guide to Changing the World.” The public is invited to attend.
