Summary Sentence:

Men's basketball needs your support!

Full Summary:

I can’t tell you how excited I am to begin my first season as head basketball coach at Georgia Tech. I am honored to be a part of this prestigious Institute and its strong academic and athletic traditions. The accomplishments in men’s basketball alone over the years, which include Final Four appearances, historic games, and the portfolio of high profile professional players, make Georgia Tech an elite program in every sense of the word.

With that in mind, I am writing to tell you that there is nothing more important to our team than having your support. I invite you to join me as we begin a new era in Georgia Tech basketball. Our students and their families are the backbone of our home court advantage.

As you may know we are playing 10 games at Philips Arena this year as we complete the magnificent McCamish Pavilion, set to open on campus in November of 2012.

During the weekend of February 4th we will be offering special weekend packages to encourage our families to join us for our 1 p.m. game against Boston College. Details for this event will be coming to you in January’s ParentNews. Please consider supporting our team this winter!
