There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Georgia Tech will host the 7th annual Southeastern Ecology and Evolution Conference from March 26-28, 2010. SEECâs first meeting was at Georgia Tech in 2004, and was modeled after similar conferences in other regions (e.g., MEEC, the Midwestern Ecology and Evolution Conference, and NEEC, the Northeast Ecology and Evolution Conference). SEEC is hosted by a different southeastern university each year.
The purpose of SEEC is to provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere for students in the fields of ecology and evolution to network and to share research with their peers. Presenters are graduate students, undergraduate students, and postdocs from southeastern schools (or from outside the region but doing research in the southeast). You do not have to present a talk or poster to attend the conference; anyone with an interest in ecology and evolution is welcome to attend. Thanks for your interest in SEEC and we look forward to meeting you in Atlanta in March!
