There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The School of Biology is proud to announce the first VWR Distinguished Seminar in Experimental Biology. Prof. Larry DeLucas, former astronaut and current Director of University of Alabama Birmingham's Center for Biophysical Sciences and Engineering was selected by the faculty as the inaugural speaker. Prof. DeLucas' talk will take place on March 18, 2010 at 11:00am in MoS&E 3201A. The talk will be on "A Novel Method for Improving Protein Solubility and Physical Stability". A lunch reception on the 3rd floor atrium, sponsored by VWR International follows the talk. The School of Biology is grateful to VWR International for their continued support of the seminar series.
