There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. In 2010-2011, we will have two new courses available to fulfill the Quantitative Biology Requirement for the B.S. Biology degree. The courses are BIOL 4803 Special Topics: Human Genetics taught by Prof. Greg Gibson (fall 2010) and BIOL 4803 Special Topics: Population Biology taught by Prof. Meghan Duffy (spring 2011). Other courses that also qualify for this requirement include: BIOL 4105 Genomics & Applied Bioinformatics (fall 2010), BIOL 4401 Experimental Design & Statistics (summer and fall 2010), BIOL 2400 Mathematical Models in Biology (spring 2011), and BIOL 4755 Mathematical Biology (spring 2011).
