In 2010-2011, we will have two new courses available to fulfill the Quantitative Biology Requirement for the B.S. Biology degree. The courses are BIOL 4803 Special Topics: Human Genetics taught by Prof. Greg Gibson (fall 2010) and BIOL 4803 Special Topics: Population Biology taught by Prof. Meghan Duffy (spring 2011). Other courses that also qualify for this requirement include: BIOL 4105 Genomics & Applied Bioinformatics (fall 2010), BIOL 4401 Experimental Design & Statistics (summer and fall 2010), BIOL 2400 Mathematical Models in Biology (spring 2011), and BIOL 4755 Mathematical Biology (spring 2011).
