There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. BioBash 2010, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Georgia Tech School of Biology, was held on Friday, October 8th. This event brought together over 150 students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends for an evening of music, food and fun. Attendees learned about ongoing research in a departmental showcase and bid on dozens of fabulous donated items in a silent auction. Overall the event raised over $5000 for the Biology Student and Faculty Programs fund. A great time was had by all!
